I may have misheard, but I think you said you used 1x4s in the video and for the plans it says to use 1x3s. I’m going to attempt this build so I just wanted to clarify. Nice peace. Your design caught my eye as I am in the desert south west and it reminds me of some I have seen out here from the native Navajo peoples that are in this area. I will try your idea but will use reclaimed pallet wood as it is cheap and easy to come by in our area. I have joined your page as I am also a DIY er and love to see what other people are doing in the genre. I like to work with reclaimed plastic a lot and have developed and refined a skill set the lets me use it for a better than wood, wood substitute ( I.E. it doesn’t rot, swell and warp, crack, exc… ) it’s only weakness is heat. but we use it every where any way so… A friendly subscriber out here in the weeds…..
