$35 DIY Wood Plank Wall

If you enjoyed this video, please help by SHARING and LIKING!
In this video I show how to make a custom wood plank wall out of regular 2 by 4 lumber and three different kinds of stain. ( I used Minwax Classic Grey, Dark Walnut, and Golden Oak) I ripped each 2 by 4 into four different strips and then stained them. I let them dry over night and then attached them to the wall using 1 inch brad nails.

Materials-
10- 2 by 4 ($18)
3 different stains- ($17.50)
(bought at Menards with 11% off sale)

really like the contrast of the stains! And what a great price?!?! I don’t have a band saw, so i think i’ll use a table saw to “resaw” my
2x4s. I’ve seen some videos on this. will do a lot more research… but man, it looks great. thanks for sharing!

I’m moving into an apartment and want to do this for part of my wall. I was wondering if I could do this onto a sheet of plywood and then screw the finish plywood product to the wall. This is so that it’s easier to remove when moving out? Any pointers will be much appreciated. Thank you.
