I think you’re supposed to remove the inner collar. It’s for pex pipe.
I wouldn’t use them in the wall if there may be water hammering issues. And I would make sure it’s braced good on both ends.
One of those pex Suspension Clips with the two ears screwed to the stud would help hold the pipe steady.
I’ve used the generic sharkbites to temporally plug off lines being serviced.
I add a little SuperLube Synthetic Grease to mine. It’s an H1 lube which allows for incidental contact with food. Not sure what that does to the seal long term however.

They are sweat on in factory as cheaper for them in long term as reduces chance of installer failures. They test it before it goes out the door too
