Build article: https://craftedworkshop.com/build-diy-light-box-sign-lasers/ In this video, I’ll show you how to build a DIY light box sign using inexpensive LED lights. I made my light box into a sign, but there are tons of options! You could turn it into wall art for your kid’s room or game room, or even make a similar sign for your business’ lobby. Enjoy!

Love it, dude! I really like how the colored LEDs came out. Wish I would have gone with those. Enjoy the sign!
Nice one! Last lightbox I made just used cut vinyl and you can see the bubbles, I’ll have to give this a try with my cheap laser engraver.
I’m doing this. I have a maker Fair on Feb 4th. That would be a cool multipurpose add on. Of course I’ll do something a little different since I’m not as heavy into the wood working as you.
This is awesome! Might just have to bust one of these out for my next project!
I think the lights are the issue more than the paint. I don’t think you’ll get nearly as bright light from a battery pack.
All signs point to a GREAT PROJECT! LOL! I really like how it came out, and walnut is the best!
Sweetness man!
Awesome lightbox.
That’s really cool! I made something similar for a friend of mine, but used colored resin instead.

That came out great, definitely spice up your booths.
Looks great
I came for the lasers but didn’t see any. Awesome job though !
Very nice!

Nice project! Johnny, came out nice. >:)…JP
Cool, turned out nice! You could always hit the white paint with a bit of 320 grit sandpaper. It should soften the amount on there and diffuse it rather than block it.
Awesome build! The sign looks great!!
Sweet! I’ll be curious to hear how long the battery pack lasts for you.
looks awesome!
looks great.
Very cool project Jonny. Loved it
hey man, great work. I recommend the LED Modules, they are specifically design for signs, you can turn easily because they are connected by cables instead of being a continues strip.
