DIY tea light candle holder w/ storage

We made modern tea light candle holders with built in tea light storage! 👇 links below! 👇 We messed up a lot on this project, and it will always remind us of Hurricane Harvey (which hit right after we finished) but we still really love the design.

At the end of the video, we mention a raffle we’re doing to raise money for Harvey relief. We made a CNC’d topographical Texas and every $25 donation you make to the Houston Flood Relief Fund (organized by JJ Wat: is worth one entry (enter as many times as you want). Just send us a screenshot of your donation on instagram (@evanandkatelyn) or via email to enter. We’ll announce the winner Friday 9/8 at noon CST (it’s made of pine and is about 10×8.5 inches, and US shipping is free). Please share with anyone you think would want to enter – we’d love to get as many donations as we can!

We’ve included more links below to help with the Harvey recovery effort. The response from locals and the entire population has been heartwarming, and we want to do our small part to help. Any donation no matter how large or small is greatly appreciated.

Other funds:
– The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund of Houston’s mayor, administered by the Greater Houston Community Foundation:
– If you live in TX, the City of Houston Emergency Operations Center posted a list of places where you can drop off donations:

Sipuli 345 says:

Hello, i have never experienced a flood and i doubt my country ever gets any floods or hurricanes (i’m from finland), but i am curious about what makes the flood so difficult? i mean can’t you just leave the area until the water level comes down or is it dangerous to go into the water? It sucks to have property damage but really can’t do much about natural disasters :/ . Hope everything works out for you guys!

SJWoodworks says:

will there be a video about the Texas topography carve from your shapeoko? I’d love to know how the whole thing was processed so I can do something similar with my own state on my CNC. Thanks for this video, by the way.

IckySticky says:

aw you guys

Evan Phillips says:

This video might be my favorite one yet!! I laughed a lot while watching this; you editing strategy is a lot funnier and better than mine!! Good job on the candle holders that is a good idea that I didn’t think of.

Also the problem that you were having with your table saw seemed like hat saw was too small. I was looking at table saws a little bit ago and I would recommend upgrading to a rigid table saw. It the one that I just purchased and it works fantastic! Other than that Great video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
