Today we are going to make a DIY LED Lightbox that is perfect for your room decor! What I love about this DIY is how great it looks and the ability to change the messaging on the sign to fit your mood is a great conversation starter! I am going to show you how to transform a shadow box frame into this sign! This will be perfect for your home or room. It takes a little bit of time to make, but the results are totally worth it.
Here are the materials I used:
Shadow Box
Tile Cap
E600
Trading Card cases
IKEA LED Light strips
Chalkboard Matte Spray Paint

This is gorgeous! Love the whole old cinema vibe of light boxes.
It reminds me of an old fashioned movie theater sign! Thanks for this trendy look!
that’s amazing!!
Love this!! Thanks for a great tutorial!!
Amazing as always Ann!
Oh, i love it!
dope
I’m really glad you posted this. Finally a cheaper easier way to make a light box!
what was the size of your shadowbox?
Ann, did your tile cap have an u-shape? I’m doing this diy right now and I have an u-shape tile cap. However, I’m wondering how the bottom of the letter will be in place if your slot is facing the other way. (I hope you understand) because your slots have openings at one side. The other side is flat, how will the letters stay in place? Should my letter be super tight between the slots?
Wow this really helped because I want to decorate my room and I really want a light box but I haven’t find any so this really helped
great diy…could you use mirror spray paint instead of the aluminum foil?
How much do you think this would cost over all?
