In this video I’ll show you how to make and wire your own relay wiring harness for your LED light bar or any other accessory. In the end we’ll have a harness that will include a single relay, a fuse, and a switch, and will power your Light Bars or accessories with the push of a button.

Really great video. Can you explain how to wire to the ignition, so that the lights will only work when the key is turned?
i only have a switch that has two ports. one to the relay and the other to the ground… but wont work
Most helpful way to understand replays and a 101 for any wiring thank you
fantastic job on that video that was great thank you
bleepinjeep would this work for 52 inch light bar 500 watts, if you use a 40 amp relay. and what size fuse do you recommend
Do you have any videos where you demonstrate the constant hot connection?
My truck doesn’t have fog lights but it has the switch, could I wire it up to that??
Really appreciate the video!!!
nice
Best video I’ve found on YouTube on how to wire a relay, also took your time to let us screenshot the diagram
thank you. very easy to follow. 🙂
really helpful thanks man! and bad ass jeep!!
Good video. Best 4×4 channel on the web by far. How would I wire my new lights to a Toyota OEM fog light switch? I have blanks in my 80 series dash where I want to put a toyota fog light switch. I would rather not use a generic off/on switch. Thanks
Hie , is there any Difference between an Normal Electrical wire & Automotive wire ??

Hello if there’s pre wires how do u convert from hot circuit switch to ground circuit switch.
Oh just noticed this… with the lightbar off, relay terminal 87a will be “hot”.
Big big help, thanks so much!
Well done. Definitely saving me money from buying $20 harnesses and having to wait in the mail! Haha. I appreciate it man. Definitely helped.
thanks for all the “details!” totally helped me install my led lights on my rubicon!
Hice lo mismo y se me calienta el fusible hasta quemarse , porque sucede eso ?
this guy is great, out of the 5 questions I had pertaining to my jeep (JK, but similarities amount many jeeps) 4 of them were answered so well I was able to do it myself. This most recent one here (wire harness) was great because my LED bar came with two fog lights as well and the wiring harness but the wing harness was cheap and i wanted to run the two fog lights and LED bar separately. Went to Advanced Auto and for $30 bought 3 packs of 14 gauge cable, connects, two fuses and relays and 30 amp fuses and was able to make the wiring harness go where I WANTED it to go as well as hook it up to the rockers I had bought.
finally a video that helps me!!! great job man, very helpful!
Can you explain the part at 14:00 a little more? Do I plug it into the back of the fuse panel and plug a fuse into that slot? If this is the case, what fuse would I need? 5A fuse be too much?
How would this work with a 5 pin switch
Slowly is key! Well done sir, I totally understand now!
