David Genthner Jr says:

Do you water your garden or does mother nature do it for you? If you spray your peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes with a mixture of Epsom salt and water they will grow larger and is environmentally friendly.

august says:

That’s a good way to hold up your tomaters ! I have cages made from concrete mesh rolled into circles that are about 30 yrs old now. Rebar ties might work good also ? Thumbs up !

Trevor Holland says:

The tomato baskets is all you need and not that expensive

michael says:

Awesome video. I use cattle panels from tractor supply. Works awesome. Love the baby duckies.

Kevin Jones says:

hey stoney ridge ..awesome job brother…how about a video about that sweet camper ..thinking about buying one and maby I can get some ideas from ya

Frankie Glynn says:

How is your mother doing

Nathan Cooper says:

I think the video as be good luck the fish keep biting ever time I try to watch it broth in 4 sand bass is so far over here in California

MrClean417 says:

I found that inch and a half PVC pipe fittings go on top of the T posts so I ran T posts every 5 foot and cut 10 foot sections of PVC pipe to go between, then hung netting from that. Plants do the same thing as with the panel, end of the year I cut the netting down and burn the vines/netting all to keep disease at bay. Think this would be cheaper and easier though. Just didn’t think about using the cattle panels or remesh. When I moved into this house the previous owner left about 14 remesh towers for maters but always seems like the really good, big ones are on the inside and have to be passed up and out. And they don’t store easy. Get up in the spring, chase them down from the winds, t post them in place.

Daddy’s Life says:

Hey josh could you private message me please? I would like to send you something that I am goin to make for you!

Destenee White says:

I came a cross something that you may like better as far as trellising your tomatoes. I don’t remember the site but basically they had a cross beam over there tomato plants I want to say every ten feet or so and supported the cross beam like a swing set. Drilled holes for hooks one for ever plant. Staked a rope line in the ground like you would for a tent put the tether through the hook and tie it around the bottom of the plant when it gets around 10-12 inches tall. Once a week you go and wind the tether around any new growth and there by shaking the plant and fertilizing the blooms so if your bees are not doing there job so well your helping them out.it keeps the plants tall and helps them not have so much stress from the weight and during the heat ripening. It basically takes a load off literally. I plant on trying this method next year I live near arms and dutch in Oklahoma and the heat here is really giving my tomato plants a stressful year. There wanting to fall over from the weight and they want to wilt so I did some looking to try and help the matter and came across this idea just thought it may give you something to make during the off season before next spring sorry so long thanks for the blogs love them! Please do one on well water!!!!!!!

Dane Lady says:

What’s the gauge of the wire on that fence pannels? Length and height? I love those trellises but I also love those panels I have some other ideas for those!

Jason Steele says:

You need a hoe in the garden. Not Mrs. Stoneyridge. No just kidding. Good idea for a trellis system.

James Dement says:

Id use baling wire

James 45 says:

Hi josh
I was in the hvac trade many years and used zip ties for wire ties and many other things they make a zip tie gun now and The ties come in rolls that way you don’t have a lot of wasted tie material it cuts them off also for heavier ties you can get duct ties which are heavy duty and long also a tool to cinch them tight and cut them
Thanks for the video

billg1527 says:

I use the same product but bend it into a circle zip tie it then cut the bottom square so as to make legs that stick into the ground and put the plant in the middle, my garden is much smaller and you are right they last a long time i have some that are 20 years old. I also have heard the iron from the rust makes for happy plants.

Arkansas Pilgrim says:

Looks like a great system.

Congratulations on the new sponsor!

toot tall says:

if you son’t snip off the ends, there is a way to reuse zip ties. If something is temporary and you know it, might be better idea to undo them and reuse them than add to landfill with more plastic.
If you’d like to know how to make an ornamental trellis for flowers and things near the house, let me know. there is an easy way to make a nice looking ornamental trellis out of wood, if you have a table saw. It’s tough with any other kind of saw tho. IF you want to know how to reuse the ties or build the trellis, just ask, that’s for any of the viewers. tootall1121@yahoo.com

Theresa Williams says:

hey Josh what kind of sweet corn did you plant

Richard Rybarczyk says:

Great tip, we enjoy home grown tomatoes. Will the ducks be released on the pond when they get big enough? God bless

Steve Guarneri says:

Looks easy!!!

Joe Mack says:

Best family time as a kid was in the garden, I learned so much from prepping the soil to planting the seed and the conversations had with the people who taught me to grow my own food.

nolan morgan says:

could you burn the stems off of the trellis

Loren Ledebuhr says:

How is your mom after the snake bite?

GaryD35205 says:

Does that rooster crow all the time or is he a “ham” only when your doing the vlog? lol

Joseph Barker says:

farm tex has tomatoes clips. makes it much easier for fall clean up.

David Waller says:

If your looking for a cool small spring blooming tree take a look at the Lavender Twist just a weeping red bud .

Loren Ledebuhr says:

Thanks Josh, Is the bronco running and stopping correctly?

James Livingston says:

Thank you Josh once again! I hope you have a great weekend with your family!

walter tadla says:

Cool idea like the use of remesh cheap and long lasting. You can never have enough T bars or zip ties. Beats my system of using wire baskets, Thanks!

John TenBarge says:

I do the same thing just use metal tire wire instead of zip ties. Good tips!!
