Here is what you’ll need!

DIY Garden Bug Spray

Cooking Oil Spray

SUPPLIES
Large bowl or measuring cup
Measuring spoon
2½ cups water
½ cup cooking oil
¾ tablespoon liquid dish soap, optional
Spray bottle
Funnel, optional

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large mixing bowl, or directly in your measuring cup, combine water, cooking oil, and dish soap. Mix well.
2. Transfer mixture into your spray bottle, using a funnel if needed.
3. Always test spray on a small patch of your garden first, then apply to the leaves and stems of your garden, avoiding direct contact with fruits and vegetables.
4. Keep spray stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Baby Shampoo Spray

SUPPLIES
Large bowl or measuring cup
Measuring spoon
3 cups water
1 tablespoon baby shampoo
Spray bottle
Funnel, optional

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large mixing bowl, or directly in your measuring cup, combine water and baby shampoo. Mix well.
2. Transfer mixture into your spray bottle, using a funnel if needed.
3. Always test spray on a small patch of your garden first, then apply to the leaves and stems of your garden, avoiding direct contact with fruits and vegetables.
4. Keep spray stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Garlic Spray

SUPPLIES
Large bowl
½ onion, diced
5 cloves garlic, chopped
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
3 cups boiling water
Plate (large enough to cover bowl)
Large measuring cup
Strainer
Spray bottle
Funnel, optional

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large bowl, add onion, garlic, and cayenne pepper. Carefully pour in boiling water and cover with the plate. Allow mixture to steep for at least 1 hour.
2. Make sure the bowl is cool enough to handle, then remove the plate and pour the mixture through the strainer into the measuring cup. Discard the scraps and transfer the liquid into the spray bottle, using a funnel if needed.
3. Always test spray on a small patch of your garden first.
4. Keep spray stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
