Have you ever used the Rub & Buff to highlight a piece that you’ve distressed? A dark color with silver or gold would be interesting to see.

catgirldo says:

Brilliant redo. There is something special about those old end tables – they’re so feminine with all the nice curves and you saved it!!!! The wood appliques were extra nice touch but have to say you’re use of the silver as trim was inspired. The tables look very high end and modern. Good job, Tresha.

LOL! My mom has the exact same end table and its entire set: oval living table, another end table, and the tall buffet. My parents bought the set when they immigrated here 40 yrs ago 🙂

Wow! That is so rich and elegant looking! I love the idea of the wooden applique. It makes the piece so expensive looking. And thanks for the awesome tip about the gallon bag for paint!

Denise Weekes says:

Love it!! Quick tip when I spray paint indoors, I use one of those project presentation boards (you know the ones the kids use for their school projects) and put behind to make sure it doesnt get on my floors. When watching the video you had the drop cloth down but I kept looking at ur beautiful floors. lol You can get them from Dollar Tree for $2.
