Quick questions…How long did you sand down the table top? Was that regular paint you used on the lamp?

Elizabeth Bahena says:

That lamp came out beautifully

Fun mom says:

Love your projects

When you began wiping off the gel stain I was “ooooooohhhhhhhh – that’s gorgeous.” The lamp and shade look marvelous – fun, funky, elegant, and yet maintains a nice mid-century look due to the lamp base. I usually purchase plain cheap lamp shades and then decorate them to suit my design and I like to use lace, vintage doilies, pearl and/or rhinestone trimming. You are putting in a tremendous amount of time and effort to do a video everyday in October and I am having so much fun watching them and especiallly when your “men in training” show up to participate. You’re a good Mom.

I lovet.thanks

Jaime Drew says:

I like it better now. By the way I make furniture and refinish old furniture and even though your videos show how to do this stuff (which I know how to do) I still find them very enjoyable if that makes sense. I’m trying to compliment you but I’m not doing a very good job dang it lol. I have that same rigid table saw. You gotta break that thing out I love mine.

You should thrift for a closet with items like a handmade shoe rack, belt hooks, an area for scarves etc. I need some ideas for mine.

Kelly Scott says:

Great looking lamp and very interesting using a map. Everything you do, always have a positive results. Thxs for sharing.

Eydna Mortensen says:

“Liked it better before”, no no no! You are completely right, it looks stunning now!

Aaron Castellanos says:

The table and lamp shade looked better afterward, but the lamp base probably would have looked better if the color was the same color as the side table knob to tie both of them together. Do you have other projects where you have incorporated an aged copper color?

banga8080 says:

I’m stealing the lamp idea
