I would love to have seen the inlayed portion of the drawer front as a bright pink or decoupaged for added effect and interest. But this is great! Thanks for the inspiration!

Theresa Ainge says:

so beautiful. I’m constantly on the lookout for cute napkins. I love this end table!!!! the only thing I would do different is putting a piece of the pattern on that bottom arm. the plank connecting the 2 legs. it would really bring it all together. I also think I would add a little circle pull knob with the pattern on it to the drawer. but that’s just putting my own twist to it. the piece is wonderful and unique. wish I had one

I love every thing you do!!!!

tanks patti for sharing i love the color flower good work

Lynda Thomas says:

I noticed you didn’t use the wet paint brush method to detach the excess paper on your edges. Is the tablecloth too thick for that process? You cut your edges. Were you ok with the wood’s router designs showing in the end? In hindsight would you have filled that design since this process hugs the paper into every detail? Not being critical Patti. I love it and I learn from you. I trust and value your experience as well as appreciate you sharing your tips and techniques with us all. I ask to learn in order to brave my own projects. Thx.

Good Morning Patti,
That is one of my favorite projects so far. I love that the table had a hole in the top. I was thinking you could put a plant and you did. The plant looked great matching the table.
